Gary Roberts
Judge Gary D. Roberts serves on the Superior Court of California for the County of Los Angeles. Governor Jerry Brown appointed him to that position in 2018.
Prior to joining the Court, Judge Roberts was the head of the Fox Group Legal Department for almost 25 years. In that capacity, he oversaw legal affairs for the Fox Entertainment Group.
Judge Roberts began his career as a law clerk for the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, based in New Orleans, and as a civil litigator at the Los Angeles firm of Munger, Tolles & Olson. He has a BA in International Affairs from Texas Christian University and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Texas in Austin.
